Bio

Devan Stuart-Lesley is a 20+ year media veteran; assistant director and producer; and owner of Legacy Talent Group, a Florida-based talent agency representing actors and models throughout the Southeast for film, television, commercial, print and live event projects since 2014.

She began her media career producing the morning newscast at Jacksonville’s WTLV and later served as a senior reporter for the Jacksonville Business Journal, where she covered dozens of major business, civic and political issues and became know for her in-depth profiles of local leaders. She has written entertainment, lifestyle, travel, health, trend and crime articles for numerous national and regional publications including People, Chicago Sun Times and Jacksonville Magazine. Her work has appeared on BostonHerald.com, SouthernLiving.com, ForensicMag.com, Yahoo.com, IMDB.com and Who.com.au.

When not at the keyboard, Devan’s favorite place to be is behind the camera. She has scripted and produced promotional, legal and documentary-style corporate films as well as several feature-length narrative films.

As a volunteer, she co-founded the Norman Studios Silent Film Museum, a 501c3 nonprofit organization working to restore and reopen Northeast Florida’s sole remaining silent film studio complex where some of the nation’s first all African American-cast films were produced.

She is a member of Women in Film and Television’s Jacksonville, FL and New York chapters; Film Florida Marketing & Communications Committee; Film Florida Industry & Association Council; and past member of the Jacksonville Mayor’s Advisory Commission on Television, Motion Picture & Commercial Production.
